Lie in bed listening to the dawn chorus or spend a night under the stars in our private field, the hideaway offers a truly unforgettable experience. Situated 20 minuets away from both Bristol and Bath, this hand-built hideaway is perfect for those looking for an idyllic country setting with the opportunity to explore two culturally beautiful cities. The hideaway is ideally located to provide privacy whilst offering spectacular views of the South West countryside. It has been designed efficiently to maximise space but maintains comfort and ensures a relaxing stay. Accommodating 2 guests, the Shepherd’s Hut is split into a cosy, elevated sleeping compartment with curtains for a comfortable night’s sleep and a fully equipped kitchenette/living area, beautifully furnished giving a rustic feel. Separated from the living space by a curtain, the bedroom compartment is cosy and private, boasting a king-sized bed The hut also provides a large adjustable wall-mounted TV, complete with Wi-Fi, which can be watched from the living area or the bedroom. The kitchenette is perfect for preparing simple meals, offering a sink with hot and cold water, handsome wooden worksurfaces, a microwave,oven,grill, 3 in 1 a kettle, and a fridge. After preparing your meal, you can sit on the soft sofa in front of the TV or take a seat on the foldable dining chairs accompanied with a foldable dining table. On a pleasant, sunny day you can take your meal outside and enjoy the rich birdsong that fills the air whilst eating your meal. If you are lucky, you may spot the deer that roam the fields surrounding the hut. Located a few meters away from the main space is a separate hut containing the surprisingly spacious heated bathroom with walk-in shower, W.C and washbasin. If an indoor shower does not appeal to you, the hut also provides a unique outdoor shower. Complete with hot and cold water, it is a memorable feature for you to enjoy, no matter the weather. A few steps away from the doors to the hut is a wooden staircase that leads you down into the field where you are free to roam and relax. Why not take one of the picnic blankets provided and enjoy a tranquil afternoon cup of tea on the grass or sipping the prosecco gifted to you in your Welcome Pack. This offers the best of both worlds. It is rural but well connected as there are several main roads that run through the area. It offers lovely country walks, many close to the river Avon. There are many public houses in the area (4 within a 10 min walk and an additional 5 within a 10 min drive) as well as local supermarkets. It is located halfway between Bath and Bristol; it is half an hour’s drive to each. Both are vibrant, fascinating cities with many attractions. Bath boasts the famous Roman Baths, Thermae Bath Spa and the iconic Royal Crescent. Bristol is famous for the incredible Clifton Suspension Bridge and the bustling bars and cafes along the Harbourside. We are also located 20 minutes away from the outstanding National Trust Area- Dyrham Park. Supermarkets Aldi-0.5 miles Tesco Express-0.5 miles Lidl-1.2 miles Asda-1.6 miles Guest Access As a guest you will have full access to the Shepherd’s Hut and bathroom, garden area and field. Cosy room in a quiet rural village

Private annexe, with own entrance, kitchenette area no sink as washing up is done for you. Parking space. situated in a small country village, lovely walks on the doorstep and close to Bristol, Bath, Wells and Cheddar. Bristol Airport is 20 minutes away. The Beautiful Chew valley lake is 3 miles away and is ideal for walks, bird watching and fishing. Other attractions within an hours drive are stone henge, Weston Super Mare, Longleat safari Park. The perfect base for visiting the West Country.

Beautiful, well equipped, private, self contained, accessible Annex/Bungalow - conveniently located between Bath & Bristol. The train station is approx. 5 mins walk from The Annex - so you can be in either Bath or Bristol in 10 mins. The Annex backs on to Ashton Way Car Park and is just a 1 minute walk to the high street - which offers a variety of bus routes, shops, restaurants, cafes, Takeaways, Pubs/Bars , Library, Leisure Centre & Memorial Park (which boasts sports courts & playgrounds).

Comfortable cosy flat near Bath and Bristol

The flat is cosy, light and homely. There’s 3 heaters in the annexe for chilly evenings. Tea/coffee/sugar/towels are complimentary. It is around 7miles into Bath/Bristol where there is ample car parking. Bus service to Bath/Bristol are 100yrds of flat. A car is recommended for supplies. Please let us know if your car is large so we can advise parking on our drive. The nearest station is Keynsham which is a 10min drive/30min walk. Tv is available with Netflix and all sports channels

Beautiful countryside walks, along with multiple pubs and the famous Pensford Viaduct are all on your doorstep. There is a local farm (Langford farm) just 5 mins walk where you can collect fresh organic milk . Bristol airport is only 20 mins drive away .
