The place is in the middle of nowhere, but within a humanly reachable distance of several attractions and services. The nearest shops are about 15 minutes' drive and public transport (train) is about 5 km from the property.

Here you can explore the cultural landscapes and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. Possibility of fishing and SUP boarding (15 €/3 h), pier 2.5 km away. Public beach 10 km.

Perfect for two, (140 wide bed), but can accommodate four (2 sofa beds) if needed. Private yard, two terraces, wood-burning sauna, barbecue area and fully equipped kitchen. Great choice for a vacation or business trip. Note! The nearest shop or restaurant is not just around the corner, so bring snacks and delicacies – here you can enjoy in peace.

Near my place, Salpausselkä geopark 4 km, Messilä ski resort 5 km, Okeroinen riding stable, bus stop 1.3 km, nearest shop about 2 km. Okeroinen mill 1 km, cycling terrain from the front door. The accommodation is suitable for couples, solo travelers, business travelers and those who enjoy outdoor activities.

Unique apartment in the Old Village School

Come and enjoy the peace of the countryside in a log-framed village school built in 1933. You'll be able to stay in a former folk school teacher's apartment. The bedrooms are for five, but if you want, you'll get a crib, as well as extra mattresses, there's 60m2 of space. You also have the option to sauna in an atmospheric wood-burning yard sauna. In 2022 completely renovated villa by the sea with a private and heated swimming pool only an 80km drive from Helsinki and 35 minutes drive from the centre of Porvoo. Here you can enjoy the peace of your own private yard in a villa decorated beautifully in a modern scandinavian style. The heated swimming pool is included in the price and is in use from May 10th until October 19th in 2025.
