Welcome to our new apartment in Val Venosta. Our Mooshof farm is located in the hamlet of Montechiaro. Away from the city traffic, you can enjoy the sounds of a mountain village with the rooster crowing and the well-deserved quiet. We are located at 930 m above sea level, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park, the largest protected alpine area in Italy. The apartment is the ideal place to enjoy tranquility with family or friends and to explore the surroundings in every season.

Historic villa

This unique home has a style of its own. The old parlor, historic beds and lights, 2 wood-burning stoves, an old veranda with dining area, parquet floors and a large garden with old fruit trees make a stay a special experience. Clay plastered interior walls, floor and wall heating as well as covered car parking spaces offer the appropriate comforts. For rent is the entire upper ground floor of the building with just under 100m2. New 2025: New oven and sink!

Silence, loneliness, mountains and nature! That is all you can expect by staying with us. The Alpinence is situated in a quiet location in the middle of the south tyrolean mountains. With its countless mountain lakes, hiking paths and mountain pastures the Ulten Valley is a great destination to explore. The Alpinence is 1600m above sea level and offers a breathtaking view all over the town Pracupola and the “Zoggler” artificial lake.

Where there was once a large meadow with ferns, our "farnhaus" now stands, surrounded by nature, quietly located and yet quick and easy to reach. In front of us stretches the entire Adige Valley, a spectacle at any time of the day or night, and Merano and Tyrol Castle are at our feet. A perfect starting point for hikes and beautiful walks.
