Cheia - traditional old village in Transylvania

Cheia village is located in the heart of the Apuseni Mountains of Transylvania, right next to the beautiful Râmeț Gorges (Cheile Râmețului) and three other scenic gorges. We are surrounded by forests, majestic mountains, and wild landscapes. The guesthouse is a renovated, original thatched house from the 19th century. Our place is remote and can be reached on foot via a marked trail or by 4x4 in dry weather, with proper tires. We can also arrange transport by car from Brădeşti to our location.

A cozy cabin is nestled among trees, featuring a rustic design with a welcoming porch. A fire pit is surrounded by smooth stones, with logs stacked for burning. The grassy area shows hints of fall foliage, enhancing the retreat's tranquil atmosphere.

Amazing and intimate place to relax in the hearth of nature sorrounded by the mountains , forests , close to cities like Alba Iulia and Cluj Napoca. 2 km away is the Szekler Maison and 5 km from Rimetea ,the most beautiful village from Transilvanya. You will like the place because of the ambiance, the large outdoor space where you can play, football, volleyball or simply relax listening to water, waterfall and birds. You can stay on one of the 3 terraces equipped with what is needed.

A cozy guest room is adorned with decorative wall panels made of natural wood and furs. Two spacious beds are covered with light green bedding featuring floral patterns. Fresh towels are neatly arranged on the beds, and natural light enters through a window draped with a sheer curtain.

Nestled in the heart of Romania’s enchanting Apuseni Mountains, Poarta Zmeilor Guesthouse offers a truly unique escape steeped in legend, nature, and authentic mountain charm. Nicely decorated with birch wood and furs with two double beds and six single beds on the second floor. The cabin has it's tree bathrooms and a porch with mountain view. Granted access to the common kitchen, siting area, tree house, playground, campfire spot, grill and optional hot tub.

Two triangular-roofed cabins are seen against a colorful dusk sky. The larger cabin features extensive glass windows, while the smaller cabin has a simple wooden facade. Surrounding greenery and gravel pathways are visible, adding to the serene outdoor setting.

With a 4 person accommodation capacity, the cottage has an open-space living room equipped with an sofa/corner extendable ground floor and a queen size bed upstairs ; a bathroom with shower ; kitchenette equipped with stove/ gas, cutlery and dishes. The cottage also has a courtyard with outdoor fire area, barbecue and parking. The area has mobile phone signal in any network.

Grandparents House is located in Ponor commune, village of Geogel. There is a space in the location for barbecue and kettle. You can discover the scenic places of the Apuseni Mountains with electric bikes or on foot The location is on the Transalpina de Apuseni route, in a quite isolated area, the silence being a characteristic that defines us, and for the hiking lovers, we have some wonderful trails. Unwind in this unique and tranquil home.

Great place to relax in the hearth of nature, in a Mansion, close to cities like Alba Iulia, Cluj Napoca and Sibiu. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the outdoors space and all the outdoor and indoor activities. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. There is a sport field, pool, sauna, salt room and a lot of others sports. Great mountain roads for trips, bikes and offroading.
