You live in a small Tyrolean wooden house (26 sqm), in a quiet location, surrounded by forest. It consists of a living room/bedroom with a large bed (180x200), a small kitchen and a balcony. You can start hiking trails, mountain or bike tours directly from the house. You can charge your e-bike in the garage. In winter there is a cross-country ski trail on the plateau, and the ski areas are about 20 km away. Shops, a bank and a pharmacy are within 2 km. The hosts live in the house next door.

The apartment is located in the Ammergauer Alps, right at the foot of the Hörnle Mountain. The hiking trail starts at just 50 meters away. The nearby Linderhof and Neuschwanstein castles are impressive attractions in the surrounding area. Our cabin is located in remote meadows at 900 m above sea level. From the village and the infrastructure so familiar to us all, you are still only 15 minutes away. The beautiful Lake Constance and the high mountains in the rear Bregenz Forest connect directly to the low mountain location. At the hut, our family and guests enjoy the enchanting tranquility. The conversations by the fire invite you to reflect and the children lose themselves in their fantastic worlds around the witch's house.

During your vacation, take a few steps slower than in everyday life and immerse yourself in life in the mountains in unspoiled nature. Take time for yourself and make your vacation the most beautiful time of the year. Our house is located at 1300 m near the forest. In winter, the slope passes in front of the house, and the lift goes up behind the house. In summer, we are a little hidden and can be reached via a short gravel road. The parking area is right in front of the house.

Cozy, simple accommodation in a quiet, rural location – ideal for hikers, cyclists and active vacationers. Hiking and biking trails start right outside the front door, and the mountain railway is only about 5 minutes away. Restaurants, a pizzeria, a small grocery store and a bakery are within minutes walking distance. The historic old town, royal palaces and museums are about 15 km away. Of course, the morning crowing of our rooster is part of the rural idyll.

Wichtelhütte

The Wichtelhütte accommodates 4 people. Thanks to its unique location at the edge of the forest, the property is perfect for enjoying and relaxing. The cabin features 3 single beds and one double bed. After a wonderful day in nature, you can relax in your very own private stainless steel hot pot. In just a 5-minute walk, you can reach the Plattnerhof, where you can enjoy a farmer's breakfast upon request, use the wellness area, or visit the many animals.

Welcome to our cozy log cabin in the Bavarian Alps. We built this log cabin with a lot of love for detail, as this is our profession. The log cabin is located near our carpentry shop and small farm and is located in the middle of the village. Please note: it is not on a mountain or on an alpine pasture. The village is alive! From your window, you can occasionally watch a new log cabin being prepared. Here you can experience country life up close!

Cozy Chalet in Tyrolean style

Our cozy Tyrolean wooden chalet offers a unique charm and space for 6 guests: one bedroom with comfortable double box spring bed and extra TV, another bedroom with 2 bunk beds and on the mezzanine there are two more single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The big terrace with magnificent mountain views offer garden furniture to eat and relax. For the children, there is a slide, a fence keeps small children at the house.

The listed Ögghof 222 - insider tip in Feichten in the Kaunertal. A region that in 2021 was the only region in Austria to be named "Best Tourism Villages by UNWTO" by the UN World Tourism Organization. The award was given to communities that particularly preserve their natural and cultural values, are committed to ecological, social and economic sustainability in the development of tourism, and do all this in harmony with the local population.

Authentic wooden house

The house was built in 1928 by my great-grandparents. As a professor at the Academy of Arts, he went to the house with students to devote himself intensively to art. Much of the furniture dates from this period and reflects authenticity. It is a wonderful hut with a lot of atmosphere and not a modern chalet. The house is made entirely of wood. There you can experience the feeling of "back to the roots" to the fullest and come to peace.
