This modern cabin is located in the Semmering UNESCO world heritage area of Semmering. The first mountain railway in the world was built 1854 and is still in service. You have stunning views from the house, constantly you can observe the changing moods of nature and see how light is sculpting the rocks and ridges of the Atlitzgraben. One feels like being included in a painting of Caspar David Friedrich... There are plenty of possibilities for walking, skiing and mountain biking.

The 16th-century walls, with vaulted ceilings in the kitchen and bathroom, create a unique atmosphere.

The approx. 150 year old house is within walking distance of the High Wall, ideal for climbing, hiking... Soon you can reach the snow mountain either by train or car. The municipality of Grünbach requires a tourist tax of €2.80 per person/night to be paid on-site.
