Lyde Cottage, is a 3 bedroom open plan, fully accessible holiday let. It is situated in the heart of a working farm in the beautiful village of Wilton near Marlborough. The Cottage is sat in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where the Pewsey Vale meets the North Wessex Downs. The Farm is criss-crossed with footpaths, bridleways and open grass pastures so hiking, running, riding and picnicking are easy to come by, as well as home to Ponies, pigs, alpacas and other farmyard animals.

Local attractions include Stonehenge, Avebury, Highclere Castle (aka Downton Abbey), Winchester and Salisbury Cathedrals, Mottisfont Abbey and Longstock gardens, horse racing at Newbury and Salisbury plus the attractive towns of Marlborough and Hungerford.

A newly built, light and airy detached en-suite room above a double garage, with its own private entrance, in the grounds of our period thatched cottage. In a charming village, and our own one acre mature garden, the room has its own private elevated deck with a table and chairs. There is also access to the garden and other seating areas and summer house. There is a super delicatessen close by. There are 2 pubs approx 10 min walk, and another in next village about 2 miles away.

Colindale Cottage, Nether Wallop

Located between the historic cities of Winchester and Salisbury ,Colindale Cottage is an ideal base for exploring the Test Valley and beyond. Stonehenge, Highclere Castle and the New Forest are close by. The coast is approx and hour away. Dogs are welcome. Nether Wallop is a pretty village in the heart of the Test Valley close to the small town of Stockbridge with its independent shops and eateries. Nether Wallop featured in the Miss Marple series starring Joan Hickson.

The first floor annexe is accessed via a covered external staircase. Home from home, cosy but spacious one bed (2 guests) accommodation with living space and kitchen. The balcony is perfect for morning coffee/evening drinks (weather allowing) with far reaching views over the Hampshire countryside. The annexe is adjacent to our home but is entirely private for guests' exclusive use. We will welcome you, and can answer any questions but we will also respect your privacy.

It is nestled in a lovely rural setting, with beautiful walks from the house, pubs and village amenities within walking distance. The cottage has luxury fittings, a wood burner and provides a haven for couples whatever age to getaway in an idyllic part of rural England. We are happy to host one well behaved pet.

Guests have use of Annexe to Prospect House on the edge of Pewsey Vale, Salisbury Plain and the North Wessex Downs. There are private entrances and gated driveway parking for added security. A separate room can be used for storage of bikes etc. You will enjoy a large living space of 20+ sq metres having an emperor size bed that can be used as twins. Cot and/or child bed can be provided for families. WIFI and Sky tv are complimentary.

Set within North Wessex Downs National Landscape, this thatched home is spacious and full of character. Ideal for nature lovers and friend or family get-togethers. For musicians there is a tuned Kemble piano and a guitar, perfect for evenings by the log fire. For cooks, a well-equipped kitchen with a three oven AGA and a Webber BBQ grill. Families will find a climbing frame within a large enclosed garden for children and dogs.
