A beautiful house nestled in the centre of the historic village of Croston. Built in 1863, this gorgeous retreat is just opposite the village green, which is home to two dog-friendly country pubs, two restaurants and a whole host of other options such as luxury pizzas, curries and Thai food. The fish and chips are not to be missed! The house has a lovely south facing enclosed garden. There is a key box at the front door so you can arrive at any time. This is a quaint, cosy, 200 year old cottage in the beautiful village of Hurst Green. We are a short walk from the magnificent Stonyhurst College, a Jesuit Boarding school. Situated in the Ribble Valley it is perfect for walks and cycling or as a base to explore with your car. We are at the foot of the Forrest of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Beauty. You can also visit the market town of Clitheroe and wander through it's many independent shops or visit the Castle and it's Museum.

A single storey self catering cottage will accommodate two people and is ideally suitable for guests with minor mobility issues. The lounge and the kitchen area are combined creating a cosy feeling. With a flat screen TV with smart Internet and DVD player, table & chairs and a comfy sofa to sink into. The bedroom with en suite bathroom, leads directly from the lounge and features a patio doors to access the patio with chairs and beautiful gardens.

First floor accommodation, quiet residential area

It's 3 miles to Blackpool town centre with a great bus service and shops a two minute walk away. I live downstairs and guests occupy the first floor, set up as an apartment with their own access. There are 2 bedrooms that sleep 3 guests. (one single room with single bed; one double room with a double bed) There is a lounge with TV, dining table and chairs and a small kitchenette. The flat is dog friendly with a large gated front garden.
