There is private designated parking and visitor parking.

No.26 is a traditional cottage situated on Greenside, which is a beautiful picturesque area of Kendal. The cottage overlooks the village green and consists of a cosy sitting room with log burner, kitchen/dining room, and WC on ground floor. The property benefits from an exterior porch and utility room which provides secure storage space for boots, bikes or golf clubs.

Thornythwaite Farm is in Matterdale which is a peaceful valley off the beaten track but with great access to all the popular areas of the Lakes. There are plenty of walks from the door and a good pub, The Royal, is just a short stroll down the road.

The Old Map Shop was originally part of the village school. In more recent times it was a map shop, but then lay empty for a number of years before it was sensitively converted into a holiday property in 2020 - 2021. Caldbeck has a pub, cafes and a few shops. It is a great base for exploring the northern fells or for a stop on the Cumbria Way.
