We are in the Upper Douro, bathed by the river. We have this small independent house - the Casa do Losango - and also three rooms in the main house.

Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro - People's House

Casa do Povo is part of a group of houses inserted in Quinta Barqueiros D'Ouro, located in Barqueiros, in the Douro Demarcated Region. Taking advantage of the privileged location and view, the guest is in permanent contact with the river and the vineyard. My place is close to the Teja dam (Terrenho - Trancoso); Solar dos Brasis; Senhora da Lapa (Sernancelhe); Rock Art (Vila Nova de Foz Côa); Douro River. You'll love my place because it's quiet, has good access to rural areas with a pleasant view over chestnut groves and agricultural lands. Our cottages are designed to welcome those who seek to savour nature in its most authentic form: where the melody of silence is gently broken by birdsong, the soft murmur of cascading waters, and the rustic rhythm of an old mill - lulling you into slumber and inspiring dreams of a hidden paradise called Recião. We offer breakfast and dinner as additional services, both subject to availability.

Relax Container

The Relax Container, the only existing house in the property, is an isolated comfortable home completely surrounded by nature, and a small creek passing by, where you can relax and regenerate yourself, away from the stress of the cities. In the same space, there´s a hot tub you can enjoy (private and not shared) and only available for the house guests (extra fee applies).

Quinta da Costa de Cima has a holiday home, weekend, or just for a little getaway from the confusion: double bedroom, equipped kitchen and living room - it is the place to enjoy the tranquility and the landscape that the Douro offers. Having a vast outdoor space to know, there is no shortage of seasonal fruit ready to be harvested from the tree.
