Clean! we are using enhanced cleaning protocols which include sterilization of house between guests. This 3 bedroom cape cod style house has a spectacular view of the cove and the back yard extends back to the open ocean (it is not too close ) and is located in the heart of the village. The windows offer a view of the sky rock and sea on all sides. From the large windows facing the road you are looking at the cove, boats, fish sheds and beyond to the cove entrance and the sunset!

It was a great home base for us as we explored Nova Scotia. Having good coffee, ice cream, and lobster rolls right out the front door was an added bonus.”

Very close to hiking and ATV trails. No visible neighbors from the yard, lots of wildlife. Large parking areas. Interior is a mixture of new and re purposed materials. Appliances are small but functional, all the comforts of home but smaller. Double bed is incredibly comfortable. The building is compact but well laid out for function. It's my favorite place to be.

Her location its perfectly located to chester and mahone bay for little day trips. We were there in the spring but I can imagine it would be a perfect spot for a summer trip!”

They shared the use of their equipment and gave us hints to check out the unique features of the surrounding area! We got a chance to check out the glowing algae!! Very cool. It is a gem 30 mins drive from the Halifax peninsula.The Boat House has fast and reliable internet, which was a huge perk! They also have a fire pit! And Cavicchi´s Meats.. I could go on for hours about this place. Don´t think twice about booking the Boat House, go for it!! Cheers!”
