The Boca de la Roca cabin is built on 81 acres of private desert mountain property (no neighbors, no highways, no noise), and is nestled at the base of our 4,700-foot mountain - in the most majestic mountain range in Big Bend. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood that is a brief 10-minute stroll down the hill to Midtown, the village center for shopping and restaurants. The cabin is 37 min drive to Ski Apache, 10 min drive to casinos.

JX Ranch Bunkhouse - Cow Camp Room

Enjoy some peace and quiet away from the lights and noise of town in our rustic old Bunkhouse. Located 20 miles south of Tucumcari & I-40 (entrance across from mile marker 62 on Hwy 209) on a cattle ranch. 2.5 miles off the pavement on a dirt road (not suitable for motorcycles or very low clearance vehicles). You have your own entrance, private kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. If we have guests in the adjoining (separate) unit (Longhorn Room), please be courteous and keep voices down. No wifi.

Unwind on the large deck and relive the day’s adventures, or warm up by the pellet stove on cooler evenings. Enjoy a king-size bed for a great night’s sleep, plus a fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans. There’s also a queen sofa bed with an upgraded memory-foam mattress. Walk, bike, or drive to everything Cloudcroft has to offer.

Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, possibly 5, two (2) double beds in the bedroom, and a daybed for an extra person (for an added fee of $20.) Wood stove, hot plate & electric appliances for cooking. Open deck on the Pecos River! with an outdoor fireplace. Community bathhouse with commodes and showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Some road noise can be heard, especially during peak travel times.
