A charming farmhouse set in 10 hectares of land, in an enviable position with exceptional views, the sound of the village bells drift across the valley. To be enjoyed at any time of year. Search for orchids in Spring; laze by the (shared) infinity pool in Summer; enjoy roast meats and chestnuts in the fireplace in Autumn or cozy up next to the Christmas tree with family in Winter. Saint Robert, one of ‘Les Plus Beaux Villages des France’, is only a few minutes away by car or 20 minutes walk.

Little Owl Cottage

Lovely cosy cottage for one or two set on our little French farm in the beautiful and peaceful North Dordogne countryside. The cottage is nestled in 30 acres of fields and woodland where you can watch our many animals pottering around enjoying their sunny French retirement! We are halfway between the pretty villages of Mialet and Saint-Jory-de-Chalais which are well serviced with shops, bars, restaurants and boulangeries. Both villages are less than 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.

Set in very private park like land and gardens, the property is attached but completely independent of the main house. The views are spectacular. The peace and quiet is ideal for those seeking to be at one with nature. The property itself is compact but finished to a high standard with all necessary facilities to offer you a comfortable stay. Welcoming and private 45 m² apartment on the 1st floor of our annexe. Independent entrance and parking. Edge of village but within 5 minutes of shops and restaurants. Great views across our land and lake. Bright and clean accommodation. Ideal stopover for work or on route to the south and on to Spain; or for longer stays to explore the local area with its' medieval towns and chateaux, apples and madeleines, porcelain, limousin beef and cul noir pigs.

Come and enjoy the calm of the Limousin countryside in a pleasant little studio house. The accommodation includes a kitchenette, shower room, room with a 140 bed and dining area. The small house is heated with a wood burning stove. Guests can relax on the terrace. The property has a large garden. The house is 12 km from the A20 highway and 30 minutes from Limoges. For two-wheeled travelers (bicycles, motorcycles) I have a barn to shelter them.
