Cottage in the heart of Ziegenrück, the "Pearl on the Thuringian Sea" We have lovingly renovated the house with ecological materials and gave it the old charm of 1904. On 200 m2 on 3 floors, it can now accommodate up to 12 people. The rooms are airy, with historical details from many decades. The house is located in the middle of the Thuringian Slate Mountains, close to the Hohenwarte reservoir, the ideal area for hiking, bike rides or canoeing.

Pure nature, coziness with magnificent views

Welcome to the heart of Thuringia, in a beautiful, natural area with many hiking opportunities, nearby trails and ski lifts and much more. Our apartment is located 800 m above sea level and about 14 km from the center of Saalfeld. If you are looking for peace and time to rest and relax, you have come to the right place. We recommend that all interested parties and guests read the listing carefully in order to prepare for the stay and enjoy it.

When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. Barrier-free apartment in our single-family house in rural idyll in East Thuringia near the Saale dams, the Plothener ponds on the A9 exactly between Berlin and Munich. The Saalfeld fairy grottoes, the Leuchtenburg near Kahla, Jena, Gera, Weimar are not too far away. Here you can hike (the roads are also wheelchair accessible), watch animals or simply relax on the terrace. Infants up to 2 years old and children up to 6 years old are welcome.

A garden wall is adorned with vibrant flowering plants in various colors, including pink and purple blooms. Green vines climb over the surface, while planters filled with bright foliage and flowers create a lively and welcoming atmosphere in front of the building.

The estate apartment is located in the rural village of Zeigerheim near Rudolstadt. A spacious living room and bedroom invite you to a cozy glass of wine and pleasant hours. Elegant suite in a small city villa. From the living room you enter a beautiful bedroom through the stylish double door. Very large, modern bathroom, large kitchen and charming loggia. The building is surrounded by listed art nouveau villas. Only 5 min walk to the centre (German National Theatre). Small supermarket directly in the neighbourhood. Parking possible on the property.

I offer a newly renovated apartment in the center of Saalfeld. The apartment is equipped with everything (except oil) and has a separate entrance. Everything worth seeing in Saalfed can be reached on foot and there is free parking behind the house. In the entrance area opposite is another (2 room) apartment that I also rent via Airbnb.
