Our 3-bedroom home is 200 sq. meters (2153 sq. feet) large and is a marriage between traditional Japanese architecture and modern technology and comfort. The home is accessible from Tokyo and other major cities via the Shinkansen bullet train or Joshin-etsu Expressway.

Good access to Shimosuwa Station! We renovated an 80-year-old Japanese house into a traditional and clean space. (New open in 2023!) You can spend a comfortable time by renting the entire building. Recommended for families, couples and small groups. This area is rich in history and nature. Suwa Taisha Shrine, hot springs, Nakasendo. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.

広々とした静かなお部屋で、ゆったりとした時間をお過ごしください。宿は山里にあり、人に会うことはめったにありませんので、隠れ家的な雰囲気です。室内はリノベーションしてあり、ロフトは昔ながらの土壁と太い梁が特徴です。 宿まではお車でお越しください。冬季は冬用タイヤが必要です。駐車場は敷地内にあり、2〜3台の駐車が可能です。敷地入り口がやや狭く不便です。運転に慣れていない方にはご迷惑をおかけするかもしれません。必要に応じ道案内をいたします。 バーベキュー用品のレンタルは12月から2月まで中止しております。 キッチン用品はご自由にお使いください。調味料、2Lの飲料水.インスタントコーヒーはご利用ください。スーパーまでは車で15分、24時間営業のコンビニは10分ほどのかかりますので、必要な食材やお飲み物は購入してからお越しください。 テレビは設置しておりませんが、ロフトにはプロジェクターやDVD、BDプレーヤーがあります。 近くに日帰り温泉（保科温泉、まきばの湯、湯ーぱれあ、湯ったり苑）があります。 洗濯機はありませんので、長期滞在の場合はコインランドリー（車で15分）をご利用ください。

I renovated this house to comfortable satying. If you will travel with your own car (incl rental car) , to stay this house is one of the good choice. This house is located between Karuizawa and Matsumoto Castle. ---About 60minutes to both places by car. Also close to Shinkansen Station "Sakudaira" and "Ueda" ---About 30minutes to both station by car. Very close to Supermarket, Convenience store, Onsen (japaese hot springs), and local restaruant.
