Loft in the polder, relax in space and luxury 100m2

At a forgotten spot along a primeval Dutch dike, this loft suddenly appears, in the polder. Spacious, fresh and very fully furnished. With its beautiful kitchen and bathroom, separate relaxation corner and fine beds, it is a wonderful location to stay longer and explore the area in peace from here. The spacious garden with sauna and unobstructed views completes the picture. We'll be happy to heat it up for you, for a great relaxing moment! Oh and feel free to pick fresh organic vegetables from our garden!

Unique Dutch Miller’s House

This is a rare opportunity to stay in a traditional Miller's House located on the same property as an authentic 1632 Dutch Windmill. This beautiful cabin offers privacy, nature and canals on both sides, yet is only 1.5 miles (2.4km) from town and a 40 minute train ride to Amsterdam. This cabin was hand built with love & care and it is a pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world. As the Miller of this windmill, I enjoy giving my guests a complimentary tour whenever possible.

Our cozy cottage is located in the back of the garden, and is built from the old building materials of the old Avenhorn auction. Conveniently located 10-40 km. from: Hoorn-Enkhuizen-Medemblik, Edam-Volendam-Marken. But also Alkmaar, the Zaanse schans, Amsterdam and not to mention the coast of N.Holland.

House of 100 years old is under the mill and is cozy and cozy. A 5-minute walk will take you to the centre of Alkmaar. Rent a boat and see Alkmaar from the water. In the street behind the cottage is a beautiful, large playground the “OKB”. The bus stops in front of the door. Paid parking in the area and just across the house. Free parking is within walking distance. Downtown: a 5-minute walk away Beach: 30 min by bike/min 15 by car Two bicycles for use at the cottage.
