We built it with much love and fun in a creative, organic way from recycled, found and donated materials. Along meadows with knot willows, you drive into a cozy village. At the church, you turn into a dead-end road. Soon you will reach a black cottage surrounded by greenery; our guest house "De Hooischuur". As soon as you enter the detached cottage, it immediately feels like coming home. And that is exactly the feeling we would like to give you. Our characteristic hay barn in 2018 is equipped with many comforts and gives you the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The cottage is a renovated barn in the back, overlooking the meadows in the beautiful area of Schoonrewoerd. The 1 bedroom cottage is fully equiped , Kitchen, Bathroom and a 2nd toilet. It is 60 sq/m big and can host up to 4 people. Ideally 2 adults & 2 children, but 4 adults is possible (for a few days) but it might be a bit crowdy. You can enjoy your own private garden near the water, you will have easy and private access to the cottage via the right side of our farmhouse.

Great guesthouse between nature and culture

Studio Tjilp is a lovely and comfortable guesthouse with it's own entrance in the very centre of the Netherlands. You'll find both nature and culture nearby. The shops and restaurants of the small, cute city Leerdam are within walking distance. But there is also a beautifull landscape around. The house offers Wifi and a nice terrace in the green garden. It's also ideal if you want to work or retire for a while peacefully.

Feel at home in our cozy apartment in the middle of rural Nieuwland. A beautiful view of the polder and over "de Vliet". It is a good base for cycling along the Linge or a day of fishing at one of the many fishing spots nearby. Of course, you can also just "stay at home" because the apartment has everything for a relaxing stay. The apartment is nicely furnished and equipped with every modern comfort.
