This spacious, self contained tree-top cabin with viewing deck is a bright and airy, naturally finished room sitting in the canopy at the base of Volcano Maderas. It is west facing, w views to Volcano Conception. Located just 10 minutes outside of Balgue and ten minutes from the trailhead to Maderas lagoon, this is a convenient 'jungle' setting. Breakfast fruits, juice and a coffee, WiFi, parking, travel assistance, advice + tours of our farm included- gratis. A true island adventure!

Private Bungalow with AC and Pool

Located in the grounds of Raindance Hostel is our luxury private bungalow "El Dash". The bungalow benefits from its own little plunge tub, air conditioning and a private terrace. It's far enough away from the main hostel bar and restaurant to be a quiet spot but close enough to walk there (about 100 meters) to benefit from the highly rated restaurant and fresh water swimming pool that Raindance offers. There is lake access with black sand beach just a 200 meter walk through the jungle.

This cabin features two bedrooms: one with a king-size bed, and another with a queen bed and single bed. Finca Montania Sagrada lies in an open space at the foot of Volcano Maderas. The property is about 50mts above lake level, off the main road and quiet. Coming here is not for everyone. The short road (400mts) to reach our gate is very stony and bumpy. Not all vehicles make it up. In the rainy seasons, May, June, September and October it becomes worst. Exploring the neighbourhood is best done walking.

La Palmera: a treehouse nestled in an Organic farm

This a tree-house on the edge of a permaculture farm and forest restoration project sitting in the folds of Volcano Maderas, surrounded by jungle palms and fruit trees. It's conveniently located just 15 minutes from town of Balgüe and ten minutes from the official Maderas trail-head. Relax in the hammocks and enjoy the sounds of nature in this and educational and immersive farm-stay.

Relax at the Reyna family home, where you can breathe in the tranquility. We have transportation to pick you up at the bus stop and bring you directly to our accommodation. Just confirm your arrival time at our apartment so that one of our hosts can welcome you. With us you can enjoy a delicious breakfast, all this is included in the same rate you paid when you made your reservation.

It is a very quiet place and close to tourist centers such as Ojo de Agua (15 minutes walking) viewpoint between volcanoes (20 minutes walking) and Playa Santo Domingo (25 minutes walking). In our space you will have fruits at your disposal and total contact with nature. It is a private room but the hosts will be close by for any questions. We will make you feel at home.

La Poza Azul - Single Room

Private single room in an eco-built cabin, surrounded by jungle on Ometepe's most remote side. Sleep with a view on the lake alongside the monkeys, birds and other wildlife. Breakfast for one included. We run a small intercultural centre onsite where you can take or give a class, workshop or talk on a variety of topics with the local community and fellow travellers.
