Outskirts of Orono, space has an upstairs sleeping loft, with a low-ish ceiling and very comfy bed. The bathroom has a shower, the kitchen has a hot plate, microwave/convection, ‘fridge, and there is a large main room downstairs. Windows everywhere, and an AC unit in summer. Less than 20 minutes walk to restaurants, Ampersand’s grocery, and hiking. UMaine is our chief attraction but we are 20 min drive from the Bangor Waterfront. Arrive at 3 pm and leave at 10 am, but we are flexible.

Enjoy restaurants, bars and cafés in Orono or Old Town. We are very close to 95, making it easy to day trip to Acadia National Park, Camden, or Baxter State Park.

The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.
