We renovated this 1970s cabin from the ground up and designed it to feel open and connected to the landscape. With 20-foot vaulted ceilings, massive picture windows, a fireplace to curl up next to, and just minutes from some of the most stunning lakes in the state, it’s the perfect home base for exploring or doing nothing at all.

Water’s Edge is a private, adults-only bayfront retreat on Grand Traverse Bay, designed for couples seeking peace, comfort, and beautiful waterfront views. With a private deck, direct water access, and an ideal location near Suttons Bay, wineries, dining, and Traverse City, it offers an easy and relaxing Northern Michigan escape. The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

Absolutely no cats or other pets are allowed. We do not have a TV, but we do have fiber optic high speed internet.
