Nice hiking terrain for those who like to hike in the mountains and fields when you want. Here you can climb mountain peaks that surround Nykvåg. Bring friends or the whole family to this beautiful and charming place. Here you will find a great swimming beach just below the house. It is 3-400 meters to another beach with playground equipment, volleyball court etc. There are great hiking opportunities on the island to Skaga lighthouse or to the many beaches on the island. It is 15 min. to drive to Stø with Hvalsafari, 15 min. to Myre where you will find a good selection of shops (sports , clothing stores, liquor store, 4 grocery st.etc.).

This is a peaceful and picturesque place, perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation from everyday life. Here you can relax and enjoy the silence of nature. Immediate proximity to the beach and mountains. Beautiful in all seasons. In Hovden there is little light pollution and it provides good opportunities to see the northern lights in the period August to March. The midnight sun lasts from mid-May to mid-July, a few weeks before and after this period the nights are as bright as the days.

Suitable as a starting point for trips to Øksnes, Andøya, Hadsel and Lofoten. There are also great hiking/summit ski areas right outside the house. The area is rich in sea eagles and there is a high probability that you will be able to spot one. You can also rent a boat for fishing in the fjord.

Nyrenovert og koselig hus fra 1850 så nært du kan bo havet! Huset er fult utstyrt ligger midt i steinlandsfjorden ved foten av langøyas høyeste fjell, snykolla. I fjorden utenfor huset er det muligheter for godt fiske fra molo. Huset ligger nært det populære turmålet dronningruta og fiskeværet Nyksund. Det er også en grei beliggenhet som base for å utforske både Lofoten, Bø, Hadsel og Andøya.
