WE SIT ON A SMALL CANAL WITH BOAT RAMP AND DOCKAGE FOR SMALL SKIFF AVAILABLE FOR AN EXTRA FEE. BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS! VERY COZY! Built in the 50's, located in a quiet neighborhood next to Springer's Nature Preserve, we kept the homey cozy granny decor. There is a generous screened porch for entertaining and dining. The large yard is surrounded by woods and provides direct access to the Springer's Point trail. The trail is a lovely path to the waterfront on the sound-side of the island, and home to impressive live oak trees, a historic graveyard, and the site of Blackbeard the Pirate's final battle!

A charcoal grill is available. A fish cleaning table is available to clean the days catch!

Designed and built by us, the Surf Bug has handcrafted details and everything you might need to feel at home while away from home. The beach is just a three minute walk without crossing any streets. I am a meticulous cleaner, and the white 100% cotton bedding is percale, made in Portugal.
