We are located in a quiet neighborhood, close to shopping, restaurants and many area attractions including Allerton Park, University of Illinois, plays, concerts and performances at the Virginia Theatre and Krannert Center. Or, you can simply relax in this peaceful retreat with the beauty of the countryside in the back yard while having a morning coffee on the screened-in porch. Your hosts live close by and are ready to welcome you!

The Depot B & B: A Peaceful Retreat

Just minutes from campus, downtown, and the airport, The Depot is a historic home attached to 5 wooded acres, a lake, and a "big sky" view across the prairie for watching sunsets and night skies. Originally a train depot constructed in 1857, it has been fully modernized for contemporary living. However, we have taken great effort to preserve its rustic charms that Abraham Lincoln would have known during his circuit riding days before the Civil War. These include graffiti from 1917.

Get ready to relax in this cozy, cute, clean 3-bedroom home. This property offers an enchanting stay for guests. With 2 queen beds, it provides a nice and cozy atmosphere for a restful night's sleep. As an additional space, there’s a comfortable living room with a sofa bed. The third bedroom is an office. The house features amenities such as WiFi, AC, a washing machine, dryer, hair dryer, iron, and ironing board. You’ll be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located home.

Next to the heart of University of Illinois campus, surrounded by beautiful mature trees, this spacious and serene guest suite will enhance your experience in town. The guest suite has it own entrance. It is connected to the sunroom of our main house. This space do not come with TV, washer and dryer. And the space do not have kitchenette. However, we provide microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. This space is not limited mobility accessible. No party and no smoking.

While it being relaxing, this space is also convenient with a fully stocked kitchen and a washer & dryer located inside the apartment. This space is centrally located to many local attractions; 18 hole golf course, restaurants and boutiques for shopping!
