The time-honored 18th century farmhouse was extensively renovated and rebuilt from 2021 - 2025. The house in the small border village of Nothweiler directly on the border of the French Alsace now offers guests two large holiday apartments n. The location in the middle of the Palatinate Forest-North Vosges Biosphere Reserve guarantees absolute peace and relaxation, the historic building structure and the modern equipment ensure a cozy and at the same time contemporary ambience.

Our newly built apartment according to ecological standards offers everything your heart desires: High-quality furnishings, quietly located in a cul-de-sac and premium hiking trails right next to the property. With three bedrooms, the apartment is suitable for groups, families, but also for couples who like something special and unique. The nearby train station (1 km) allows you to arrive without a vehicle.

The workshop

Located in a small Alsatian village at an altitude of 350 m, in the heart of the Vosges du Nord Regional Park. Independent accommodation is located in a renovated old farmhouse. It includes a terrace, kitchen, living room with a bed (single bed), bathroom (walk-in shower, toilet), and a bedroom containing (1 double bed and 1 single bed). Wi-Fi access. In our vacation rental "Wegelnburg" you can expect modern equipped rooms with fully equipped kitchen and bathroom/WC. The terrace/balcony faces west. Thus, you can fully enjoy the afternoon/evening sun with a view of the Wegelnburg castle ruins. On foot, you can reach the nearby castle ruins of Wegelnburg, Hohenburg, Löwenstein and Fleckenstein via well-signposted hiking trails (e.g. Felsenland Sagenweg, Grenzgänger Weg).

The Banks of Compostela - A

In the heart of the Vosges du Nord Regional Park, the cottage (former barn) is part of an 18th century farmhouse that has been completely renovated. The 45 m² duplex has a 22 m² private terrace with views of the vineyards and orchards. The accommodation has an equipped kitchen, living room, bathroom with walk-in shower, bedroom (180 x 200 cm bed) and garage (parking for electric car). Non-smoking accommodation.

Apartment Rose is located in the middle of the Palatinate Forest. One of the most beautiful forests in Germany. This awaits you with fascinating hiking trails, an incredibly impressive flora and fauna, good food and particularly fine wines of the region. After an eventful day in nature, you can relax in the in-house sauna or hot tub and end the day with your loved ones with a homemade meal.
