Guest cottage in the yard

A cozy cottage in the yard of a detached house, yet your own peace. Good public transport. The cottage has a small room with a dining table, a fireplace and one double bed. Guests will have the opportunity to experience the life of a small Siberian husky herd in the yard of the house. Our dogs stay in the fenced backyard adjacent to the cottage, so the accommodation is not suitable for small children. During the snowy season, you can also ask about the possibility of a small sled dog ride in the beautiful winter landscapes of Northern Savo.

Room with sauna and hot tub

With us, you can enjoy the steam from the wood sauna and relax in the outdoor hot tub. In the apartment you have a 140 cm double bed, dining table, dressing room with laundry facilities, toilet, fridge, microwave and kettle. The property also has a carport with the possibility of charging an electric car (at an additional cost). The apartment is located in the yard of a single-family house, in a separate building. Good outdoor terrain for hiking and disc golf, among other things. Sheets and towels are included, as well as a hot tub and sauna.

Hirsimökki Hietanen

Hietanen is a summer log building that moved to the Hietasalme, a peninsula between two lakes in the 70s. At the tip of the peninsula is a sandy beach. The wooded areas around the plot belong to the Vehkala Farm. The terrain is a rolling, small-colored moraine that turns into rock or wetter presses in places. There are all types of forest nearby. There is no real swamp in the area. A boat route runs through the strait from Lake Vesanto in the direction of Rautalampi. The water body is especially good for kayaking.

Book now for summer 2026 immediately. We live on the shore of Haukivesi permanently. Here you can sauna, swim, and also have a peaceful night's sleep, accommodation 2 rooms 13 and 7 m2 heating/cooling, refrigerator, microwave, electric plate, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. Dishes and utensils for dining. Beds ready, incl. sheets and towels. You'll have access to a private shower and sink, as well as a compost toilet. Free to use, rowing boat and 2 paddle boards, hot tub/lot €50/vacation.

Sunset lakefront old-growth forest guesthouse

This newly-built guesthouse 2024 with comfortable amenities is located in a the middle of old-growth forests, with a private bay and a calm lake with sunset view. It is a place “to adopt the pace of nature”, with the sound and sight of wild nature. During the winter, a local skiing center with sledding place for kids is open for everyone, about 5km from our place. Also, you can enjoy Sauna, walking in forest, ice-fishing. Relaxing in hot tub in this landscape is truly a unique experience.

New guest house with sauna in a quiet residential area near the center. The apartment is located on the same plot as the host's home. The property is suitable for families, couples and working people. The apartment has air conditioning, appliances for washing clothes and dishes, and kitchen utensils for cooking. The guest house has a sleeping loft with beds for three and a sofa bed for two in the living room. The sauna is wood-heated, and the terrace has a gas grill and patio furniture.

An atmospheric and cozy place on the canal shore, where you can relax by the fireplace or looking at the starry sky from the ceiling and play monopoly or read. In the summer, you can swim in the canal or paddle board and admire the cruise ships passing by. Cooling is done with an air heat pump. The paddle board is for one person. Here you can also get ice cream for the freezer or grill on the terrace.

A small cozy room on the lake, equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Spacious private terrace overlooking the lake allows you to enjoy the beautiful nature. The cottage is located in the Lossisaari Tourist Center, which offers a wide range of services: from dining in a restaurant to various types of leisure activities on the territory of the center and more!

Villa Kontula B&B

Villa Kontula is a cozy accommodation for two people in a sauna building built in the 1950s. During your visit, you can enjoy the steam of a traditional, freshly renovated Finnish sauna and sit on the terrace in the evening. You have the opportunity to book a rich breakfast in advance for €10/person. Hosts live in the same yard.

A 1.5-story log cabin on a pine forested natural slope. Large separate deck in front of the cottage. Beach sauna, outdoor toilet, and 2 piers. Cold drinkable water/ electricity in the cottage. Good road to the property. The owner's own use, too. Can be seen in the equipment. The cottage is not a luxury cottage.

Newly renovated apartment, on the second floor of the property. The home is equipped with a double bed, shower, stove, TV, refrigerator, washing machine, and basic needs for personal hygiene. Small and neatly sized apartment right on Route 5. Suitable for couples, like for solo travelers.

Welcome to enjoy the peaceful Atelier of Puurtila by the waters of Lake Saimaa. The studio is a separate building in the yard that is completely at your disposal. Perfect for families/groups. If necessary, you can rent bedding and a towel for a total price of 13 euros/person.
