Originally the old stable block but now a beautifully presented 2 bed self catering property which comfortably sleeps 4, however there is a small sofa bed offering the option for 5 guests. A secluded location, perfect for a peaceful getaway, to enjoy beautiful countryside and open spaces, to reset and catch your breath. You also have use of an enclosed private garden where you can take advantage of the amazing sunrises and sunsets with a cuppa or a glass of wine.

Village Escape

Our cosy little house is in the centre of the village of Messingham. There’s lots of pubs and eateries within walking distance. We have an Indian, Thai, Italian & dog friendly pubs with live music, hairdressers, beauty salons, a bakery & food shops. A short drive away there’s a Nature reserve, play barn, golf, tennis, fishing & a little zoo as well as Blyton ice cream & racetrack. A little stream with ducks is in the next village. We welcome families, couples, business people & contractor’s.

The Gate House in Owston Ferry

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful cottage in rural settings. Very quiet location with plenty of public footpaths to explore. 2 local pubs within walking distance. What you’ll find at the cottage, Kitchen/diner with a multi sided log burner with a complimentary basket of logs,living room,Downstairs bathroom with large shower. Stairs leading to 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with 2 single beds. Plenty of secure parking . Doncaster wild life park is 15 min drive.
