Brook Cottage built in the 1850's is one of three beautiful holiday cottages in the yard of the 19c Cornmill based on the family farm. The Mill and the Mill Cottages are in an enclosed courtyard setting, with the Mill overlooking the river Corack - opposite which is the village park. The farm animals are a big attraction for both adults and children alike, ginger nuts are a particular favourite of the donkeys, they look forward with gusto to holiday season! "Stable Cottage" is an old traditional style, converted stone barn, near our historic old farmhouse. It retains many original features such as the original old natural slated roof, old beams, pine boarded floors, exposed original stone walls etc. etc.. It is very quiet and peaceful, on a small working tillage farm. Originally, it was the stable where the horses were sheltered and fed for the winter months while the wheat, feed oats etc was stored on the loft overhead.
