About 1 h 15 min drive from Molde, and 20 min from Åndalsnes and the path up to Rampestreken. Half an hour from the starting point to Romsdalseggen. Ålesund and Kristiansund about 2 hours away.

Shirt, Ryssdalnibba, Trolltind and are just nearby and popular summit trips summer and winter, also recommend day trip to Rampestreken, Mardalsfossen, Atlanterhavsveien, Bud, Aursjøen, Trollstigen.
