There are great hiking opportunities from the cabin as well, and the pole-keeping area right nearby if you are a hunter after them. Enjoy the sound of nature when staying at this unique place. Here you can drop your shoulders and take in the peace and quiet. This is a great recreation spot for restocking and enjoyment. A few days here, you are like new - away from all the hustle and bustle. Gamle Hvam is next door, which is an old big farm that has now become a museum and worth a visit. There are several hiking trails in the area, so nice opportunity for activity and walks. Closest shops are Neskollen, Vormsund and in Årnes Sentrum.

Come enjoy this quiet lakeside setting. The property is situated on the edge of the forest, 100 m from a small lake that connects to Storsjøen. There are plenty of hiking tracks in the forest, and we have two bikes for rent so you can explore the countryside roads. Storsjøen is a large lake great for fishing both in the summer and winter. In the summer, you can take the river down to the village of Skarnes, situated on Norway's longest river Glomma. We have a boat, a canoe and a kayak for rent.
