In this spacious and serene space, you can relax, do yoga, go to the nearby hot springs, and refresh your soul. We're also planning to start a tent sauna, and are working on that. Tea and water are available at the guest house, but meals are not included. Whether you shop at the supermarket and cook, or eat out, we leave that up to you. The nearest convenience stores and supermarkets are about 3 km from the guest house, so we recommend that you come after you have finished shopping. There are also 3 hot springs within 15 to 30 minutes by car. If you would like to use them, we will provide you with towels and more. We look forward to meeting you. Makomo House is located in a mountain village at an altitude of 500 m on the Oku-Mikawa Plateau in Nara The 100-year-old house is a private rental. Makomo-no-ta, which is said to be "the grass where God dwells", spreads around the inn, and you can relax in your room and feel the "Makomo breeze". You can enjoy the "Medicinal Herb Makomo Bath" at the Irori back table and the Goemon bath, where the well water is heated with firewood. There is no TV or wifi, so why not turn off your digital devices and turn on your own sensibilities? You can enjoy breakfast in a Japanese-style room or relax on the sofa. We also provide free drinks. We can also accommodate English. You can enjoy the garden in all seasons, but especially in May when the roses are in full bloom and you can enjoy the wonderful fragrance. You can also have tea in the garden.
