Hotel Hikari to Kaze is located on Heianzajima, the gateway to the four islands (Shimashyo area) connected by the Uruma City underwater road and bridge, located on the central and east coast of the main island of Okinawa. The first floor is the day service "Heiankyo", and the second floor is "Hotel Hikari to Kaze". (* Please be careful not to enter the 1st floor.) The concept is a "longhouse" where private rooms are lined up on one side of a spacious corridor, and when you step out of the private room, there is a vague boundary that connects to the public space, where interaction between guests naturally occurs. By sharing many of the living spaces, we aim to create a community where people naturally help each other, sharing the insights and lessons learned through daily life and giving each other energy. It is a place to turn off the switch of work and daily life and feel the slow flow of time in nature, and to encounter the invisible charms of the island, such as "connection," "human warmth," and "local stories."

Opening in March 2019, we are a friendly guesthouse in the heart of Naha city in Okinawa, Japan. At walking distance from the Naha Bus Terminal and Kokusai Dori street, it is easy to get around. You will stay in a bunk bed in one of our mixed dormitories and of course you are more than welcome to use our shared kitchen and common space. Check-in is 16:00-21:00 but you can always store your luggage if you arrive early. We look forward to seeing you :)
