A backyard path to hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only, but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility! NOTE: Cabin open May-Oct + has ceiling+box fans but no A/C

Tern II is located on NW side of Mount Desert Island with 3 bedrooms, 3 baths in the main house. A separate1 bedroom, 1 bath cottage is availble for $250. A private dock and pebble beach is yours for swimming or launching your canoe or kayak. Spectacular sunsets are viewed from the deck. Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Southwest Harbor are all easy access. Nestled on the Quiet Side of MDI, this studio is just 1 minute from Long Pond's public beach, and close to all of Acadia's main attractions — yet tucked away from tourist traffic and road noise. The single open studio features a queen bed plus two futons, making it a comfortable fit for couples, friends traveling together, or families with young kids. The deck is perfect for grilling and dining, while the firepit and hot tub offer a quiet spot to unwind after a day on the trails or water.

Located on Mount Desert Islands, "Quietside". The cottage features high ceilings and an open floor plan, with a small deck looking into the woods The walls are decorated with original art work by the owner. Our location is central to the island, situated just outside the village of Somesville; 15 minutes to Bar Harbor, 10 minutes to Southwest Harbor by car. Hiking and swimming opportunities are just 5 minutes away by car. The Arthaus is not suitable for pets, despite our love for them.
