Knotts View is located in the centre of Dockray village, in the quieter rural Matterdale valley, high above Ullswater. The local pub is just across the road with it's large garden. Footpaths head off in all directions, offering both high & low level walking. Nord Vue Barn is conveniently situated in the Lakeland village of Penruddock, which benefits from very easy access to the M6. The property was an 18th Century barn which the owners converted to an extremely spacious holiday cottage, with the best of traditional and modern features. It is ideally situated for fell walking, running, mountain biking, stand up paddle boarding and other mountain and lake activities. The cottage encourages a hygge-style approach to cosiness, relaxation and wellbeing.

Motherby really is a perfect location if you want easy access to the Lake District (being just a few minutes from the A66) but are also wanting peace and quiet. Immediate walks from the property with spectacular views. Easily reached from M6, 15 minutes drive to Keswick, Pooley Bridge and Ullswater. The Lodge is a detached recently converted building. Splendid views from large shared garden to Lakeland Fells. Perfect for a relaxing break, en-suite bedroom with king size bed and fully equipped kitchen and living area. Lovely pubs in nearby villages, closest is a 12 min walk. Many outdoor activities available locally, Helvellyn and Blencathra nearby. Plenty of walks from the doorstep. Your dog is welcome.

Lake District flat with great mountain views

Bright and cheerful ensuite studio flat on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Great views of Helvellyn and High Street. Lake District hikes, cycling or sightseeing within a few minutes. There is a small well equipped kitchen with hob, fridge and microwave for preparing light meals. The local pub is a 10 minute walk and serves excellent food with other good food pubs just down the road. Guests are welcome to share use of our BBQ corner with fabulous view of the mountains.
