Gioviano is a small quiet medieval village 25 kms from the walled city of Lucca in the Garfagnana. The house is peacful and in the heart of this beautiful Tuscan village, if you want to explore the region this is a perfect retreat for a weekend or longer. We are 50 minutes from Pisa airport on the SS12 route. The location is perfect for summer or winter. In summer you can reach the sea, in winter ski in the hills. All year round you can explore the region by foot, bicycle, motorcycle or car.

The Little House in Tereglio with Fireplace

Our beautiful and cozy house is located in the charming village of Tereglio in the beautiful Serchio valley in the province of Lucca, 6 km from the nature reserve of the Orrido di Botri and 10 km from the Canyon Park adventure park. The house is in the center of the village; the parking lot is about 60 m away. Accommodation facilities are present. The house is a great base for visiting nearby towns such as Barga and Coreglia, both of which are among the most beautiful villages in Italy.

From here, there are hiking trails by bike and on foot, in summer and winter. On-site, e-bike and snowshoe rental is available. Casa Caterina is located in the small and characteristic village of Lucchio, surrounded by greenery and with the possibility of multiple sports activities nearby suitable for adults and children, as well as very characteristic walks. From spring to autumn, Lucchio offers landscapes with wonderful colors, where you can immerse yourself in trekking, mountain biking, swimming in the Lima stream, looking for mushrooms and collecting chestnuts, all family-friendly activities.

Four-room apartment ideal for families who love to ski comfortably. Located 30 meters from the facilities and slopes, you can leave and return to the apartment with boots on your feet. Under the apartment there is a ski rental. You will find a first double bedroom, a second bedroom with a bunk bed, a living room with a sofa and TV, an equipped kitchen and a table for 4 people. On-site parking is for a fee, but guests will have free parking reserved for them.
