Our three bedroom property is a short 10 minute walk from the adventurous Cwmcarn forest drive, where there are a range of activities for all of the family. There is a direct link train near by which takes you directly into Cardiff city centre. Our property has one king size master room and two single twin rooms. We have a large living room and dining room and a brand new modern kitchen and bathroom. We have also added a utility room fitted with bike racks and charging points for e-bikes.

Ty Pentref is nestled right in the heart of of Cwmcarn village, very close to the beautiful Cwmcarn Scenic Drive, mountain biking trails and Twmbarlwm walks. We are less than 20 miles from Cardiff City. Within a 1 Hr drive, you can reach Cardiff Bay, Wye Valley, Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) Forest of Dean, Bristol and Hereford. A little further, approx and hour and 20 mins you can visit beautiful beaches and towns in the Mumbles and The Gower.

Dan y Berllan is one of two cottages on a working hill farm in the Brecon Beacons National Park, it means "under the orchard" The cottages are self catering but should you not wish to cook, to the top of our drive is The Crown Inn , a lovely village pub serving amazing food. The market town Abergavenny is all but a stone's throw away by car. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with amazing walks ,the cottage is perfected located to take a stroll or a long trek .
