The apartment itself is in the basement of an old Stickerhaus, that is an embroiderer house where once the famous embroidery of the region have been manufactured. We guarantee leisurely days in an unconventional place.

The property is on Appenzellerstrasse, which leads from Gais to Appenzell. The house is bright, offers plenty of space for 3-4 people on the ground floor and 1st floor. It is a patrician house, blankets are higher (2.20 m) than type. Appenzeller houses. The kitchen is fully equipped. 2 high chairs for children/baby beds available. Dogs welcome. Hiking trails start as soon as you cross the street. Important: Separately, a listing is also posted on airbnb to rent the whole house part (8 people).

Stay in an original Appenzell farmhouse renovated in spring 22 with 4 bedrooms, 1 living room + 2 bathrooms. The house is secluded in the middle of a sheep pasture. Nevertheless you are in 10min in the city of St.Gallen. It has parking for about 3 cars; 50m away there is a bus stop. It has a nice outdoor area with deck chairs and hammock for relaxation and with 2 barbecue areas. The large garden with slide, swing, sandbox etc. is ideal for children.

Please note: From the parking lot, you can walk relatively steeply up the hill to the beautifully located bungalow on the edge of the forest for about 100 m.
