The Bear Hut This newly finished tiny house is absolutely amazing. With everything that you could possibly need to enjoy your stay One bedroom with a full size bed. One loft with queen size bed, another loft with twin size bed plus a futon. Next to the rail-trail, 30min to Nelson, central to 2major ski areas and 5min. from night skiing in Salmo, close to many beautiful lakes in the area. This spacious suite can accommodate 4-5 persons as it has a Queen bed, a high-end pullout sofa and twin cot. It has a beautiful shower room and a well appointed kitchen and new appliances for you to cook with. Floor heating keeps you cozy and warm and the big windows make you feel being part of nature. It also has a barbeque on the covered porch.

The property is located at Priest Lake less than 2 miles from Elkins Resort. It is located on a main road with easy year-round access. There is plenty of parking for cars and trailers. There is a public beach in about 2 miles, Nordman resort is about a mile away and Elkins resort is less than 2 miles. Snowmobile trails are located just across the street. Whether you are there for a wedding, fun in the sun, or fun on the trails, we are located close to everything. Unit is top floor of a duplex.

Rustic chic studio cabin (450sqft + a sleeping loft) set in an idyllic country setting. The timber for the cabin was harvested and sawed into logs in small batches within one mile of our location. The cabin was handcrafted by the owner to include log beds, dining table, and other accents. Enjoy modern amenities in a cozy atmosphere. This is the perfect place to get away from it all and enjoy a quiet weekend with endless night skies. There isn’t anywhere quite like Cougar Creek.
