Lakeside cabin with wood fired hot tub

Rosemary cottage is one of three cabins which rest on the edge of a lake in the heart of the Banhoek conservancy. It is a light filled, modern cabin with a wood fired hot tub, direct access to endless hiking and the finest mountain biking trails in the western cape. Although it is intended as a two person cabin, there is an open queen sized pod attached to the living room which can sleep 2 children or an extra guest for a small extra fee. There is an infrared sauna below the dam for you to use.

Welcome to this serene and spacious upstairs apartment - with a pool on the one side and a balcony with amazing sea view on the other side. The room itself is warm, cosy and arty. There is plenty of storage, places to sit and relax, access to the pool and safe off street parking. Cozy cabin, surrounded by milkwood trees, the soothing sounds of bird life and the not-too-distant lagoon. [Access to the beach via the bridge is currently not possible]. Spend your days exploring the lagoon and your evenings around the fire pit. The cabin consists of a master bedroom (double bed), a kids' loft (2 single beds and entertainment galore), a bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen. NOTE: Due to the steep staircase up to the loft, we do not recommend the cabin for children under 8.

This delightful house is tucked away in a grove of trees overlooking the Vermont Saltpan,which is a bird sanctuary. Recent solar panels on the roof feed into a battery and inverter system. Loadshedding is no longer an issue. This tastefully furnished, four bedroom home, is fully equipped caters for upto 8 guests. The perfect place to getaway from it. The Saltpan is fed only by rainfall and run-off from the mountains and in years when there has been low rainfall the pan often dries out.
