Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building envelope and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were used in their natural state.

Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. 10 Minuten zu Fuß zum Bahnhof oder in die Stadt. 500 Meter bis zur Bundesstrasse B317. Zentral, ziemlich in der Mitte vom Landkreis Lörrach. 25 Minuten mit dem Auto in die Schweiz, 25 Minuten nach Frankreich, 30 Minuten zum Euro-Airport Basel-Mulhouse.
