“Perfect stay in a beautiful barn! When we arrived, the fire was already on and the key was in the door so we didn’t have to mess around with a lockbox. Welcoming arrival from Kathryn and the lovely dogs. Couldn’t have asked for more.”

Cosy, detached, holiday home for two in Bakewell, the heart of the Peak District. A walker and cyclist's paradise with Bakewell’s amenities just a short walk down the hill. Nestled in a conservation area, with Chatsworth a short drive away, we offer a warm welcome to guests from all backgrounds. All on one floor, the cottage has a lovely bedroom and king sized bed, modern shower room, small and cosy, but well equipped, lounge/kitchen/diner and garden.
“As usual with the best airbnbs, it’s the little touches which set them apart. The welcome pack was spot on. Carole and Dan were always available and helpful. The space itself was very cosy, lovely comfy sofa ideal for spreading out on post-walk. Location is ideal, a 5 minute walk down into Bakewell. There is a wealth of ideas and advice about local amenities, places to go, things to do etc. The weatherproof map is well worth using! There are plenty of excellent pubs in the area, but we can especially commend the nearby Packhorse Inn, which was warm, welcoming and the food delicious. We went to The Manners in Bakewell too, and although we didn’t eat there the food looked delicious. We hope to stay again and explore more of this beautiful area.”
