Bright holiday home in historic Mathildedal

Anttipoffi was completed in 1852 as a residential house for the employees of the ironworks. Its location in the middle of the Ruukkikylä, close to the guest marina, beach, village boutiques and restaurants, as well as Lake Matilda and Teijo's nature trails, is the best for a relaxing holiday or an active sports holiday. Mathildedal is a year-round destination, thanks to the entrepreneurs who live here. The village is busiest in summer and many consider it to be at its most authentic outside of that time. It's always unique, that's why I bought my vacation home here.

If you want to stay in a quiet place on the shore of a pristine wilderness lake on the edge of a nature reserve... this place is for you. A compact beach cottage with space for 1-2 people, a cooking area on the terrace with a refrigerator, a countertop and hotplates. Running cold water. A wood-fired sauna where you can take a sauna and wash (outdoor shower). There is a lean-to and a campfire area on the shore. A rowboat is at your disposal. Composting dry toilet. In the center of Mathildedal's mining village, a studio apartment in excellent condition in the Anttipoffi house, built in 1852. Teijo National Park with its routes is located in the surroundings. The beach and beach services are 300 m away. Central Park Adventure Golf, paddle and tennis courts are 500 m away, as well as PetriS Chokolate chocolate cafe and grocery store. Meri-Teijo Golf Course is 3 km away. Restaurant Terho, the village brewery and Matilda's Manor are next to the apartment. Free parking space in your own yard.

At the lakefront cottage in the heart of Teijo National Park, it's easy to forget the hustle and bustle. Maybe all you need is a sauna, a hammock and a rowing boat? A quiet breakfast on a sunny terrace and silence? However, all the services of the national park, kayak, paddle board and mountain bike rentals, Teijo and Mathildedal village restaurants, cafes, pottery, manor, village shop, craft shops, bakery, village brewery, tennis courts, mini golf and Meri-Teijo Golf can be found within a 5-15 min. drive.

Artist's Lodge Mathildedal

The historic Anttipoffi, built in 1852, is located in the middle of the beautiful Mathildedal potter village (26 km from the center of Salo). Teijo National Park, the lake and the sea, as well as all the restaurants, boutiques and services in Mathildedal (see Visit Mathildedal) are either next door or within 500 meters. Meri-Teijo Golf Course is 3 km away and Teijo Blast Furnace is 5 km away. Minimum rental period of 2 days, discount for a week or longer rental. Indoor pets are welcome!

Praeria cabin. Surrounded by forest, self catering cottage

A small private cabin and sauna in Kirjakkala next to Teijo National Park. For hikers who appreciate self-service and their own peace. The cabin has a bedroom, a living room, water must be carried in, and an outdoor compost toilet. Wood-heated sauna. Note: No shower! Cold well water. Washing water can be heated in the sauna. Important: You must clean the cabin yourself for the next guest! Sounds from a nearby road can be heard at the cabin, but the road is not visible from the property.

The wood-fired traditional sauna, which is freely available to tenants, offers deep and humid saunas.

The entrance has a terrace and garden furniture. The kitchen is equipped with basic utensils: coffee maker, microwave, 2 hotplates, fridge, kettle, standard utensils, pots, plates and frying pan.
