Our Seaside cottage must be very high up for the best views in Cape Town. The place is simple, sweet& cozy but with BBQ & veranda for summer. Endless ocean views (whales and dolphins in winter), always a cooling breeze in summer (or the famous South Easter). The cottage is perfectly located so you can escape the hustle but at the same time are close enough to all attractions that Cape Town has to offer! Spectacular sea views in quaint Kalk Bay

The sea views from our airbnb suite (2 bedrooms and a lounge) are fabulous. Behind us is the mountain reserve and in front lies the wide expanse of False Bay. Down below on the rocks is a natural tidal pool, safe for swimming. We are close to Kalk Bay fishing harbour, the quaint Kalk Bay village, several other tidal pools (perfect for cold swimmers!) and Fishhoek & Muizenberg beaches. We have newly renovated and enlarged our Airbnb space which is now separate from our living space and private.

Downstairs on waters edge, awesome wood fired KolKol hot tub to unwind in and large wooden deck to relax and enjoy the views. Electricity and Wi-Fi on battery backup! This little studio apartment is in a beautiful garden setting on the lower mountain slopes of Muizenberg. It has a bedroom, bathroom, living room and small kitchen with a one-plate conduction stove, and other essentials. The Muizenberg surfing beach is a 10-15 minute walk away. Beautiful coastal and mountain walks are easily accessible, as are local shops, restaurants and cafes. The popular Bluebird neighbourhood market is a great place to sample locally made food, beers and wine on a Friday.

Kalk Bay is a small village clustered around a working harbour and close to 3 fabulous, white beaches and 3 world-class golf courses. It has narrow cobbled streets and small, independent shops selling clothing and homeware, coffee and ice cream. It's cheerful, colourful, and crammed with places to eat and drink really well, pretty inexpensively too. Walking paths take you up the mountain or to the tidal pools and beaches. Just Kalk Bay is a treat of a holiday!
