Here a fully self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental and historical features.

The outdoor firepit & bbq makes it the perfect spot to relax with platypus sighting & occasional Tree Kangaroo visit. Property has direct access to the river for a lazy arvo.

A self contained, one bedroom cottage with all amenities on the edge of Herberton on the Atherton Tablelands. The cottage has a verandah with bush views and BBQ. Part of a secure 1 hectare (2 acres) estate, the cottage is 200m from the main historic homestead. There is plenty to do here, including museums, bush walking and pack donkey treks, day trips to some real outback towns and other attractions, all only 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns International Airport. A spacious hotel-style studio room at Ramada Resort. The studio is self-serviced, with some kitchen facilities (kettle, Nespresso machine, microwave, fridge), and a large bathroom. The studio has its own FREE wifi. The room is in a great location within the resort, which has a lush rainforest atmosphere, and a wonderful pool. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach. Please note that Ramada is at the quiet end of Port Douglas - it is about 10 minutes to the town centre by car or shuttle bus.
