The space
A luxury refurbished 7 bedroom villa with heated pool, minutes from Gaiole in Chianti. Set in a private hill top position with 360 degree perfect views. Fully air conditioned, fully refurbished. All beds are king size and all showers (2024) walk in. Internet connection indoor and outdoor. Accommodation over two buildings main villa (5 bedrooms) and cottage (2 bedrooms). Large central courtyard, indoor and outdoor dining and large pergola all for 14 guests.
Set on a hilltop in Chianti, villa Le Pratola offers views in every direction and something for every member of the family. Kids will love the pool and games room, while adults will appreciate the proximity to Siena and Florence. Seven air-conditioned bedroom suites and nearly five acres of gardens mean there’s room for everyone to spread out.
The villa is well-equipped for exploring or relaxing. Take a swim in the heated infinity pool, go head-to-head in the games room or at the pool table and work up a sweat in the compact gym. There’s a wood-burning outdoor barbecue, and a dining area in the stone courtyard where you can enjoy what you’ve grilled. Relax on loungers around the pool and under the pergola or take advantage of the Wi-Fi access both indoors and outdoors.
Le Pratola’s stone walls and beamed ceilings are a traditional envelope for striking modern interiors. In the living room, a sleek sectional is pulled up to an original fireplace surround. The dining room is open and airy, with a large arched window, and the state-of-the-art kitchen pairs stone countertops with glossy red cabinets.
Each of the villa’s seven air-conditioned bedrooms has king sized beds (one room offers a twin alternative) and en-suite bathroom stocked with hairdryers and toiletries. Four bedrooms in the main villa are located on the first floor, one on the ground floor (five total). In the cottage one bedroom is on the ground floor and another on the first floor (two total), with direct garden access (so no steps). For the smallest guests, baby equipment like a crib, highchair and cutlery, crockery and games are available. Music systems include Naim and Bose, there are two smart TVs which stream Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Though Le Pratola offers the peace and panoramas of a location in rural Chianti, it’s just over a mile from the nearest restaurant, and about 2 miles from a grocery store, church and town center. You’ll find a train station and the Siena hospital 9 miles away, and it’s a 1.5 hour drive to the airport.
