This idyllic French stone house can sleep up to five people. It has two bedrooms, a large living room with a woodburner, a fitted kitchen with a large dining table and two shower rooms, one on each floor. The rear bedroom has a balcony that overlooks the garden with a ruined abbey and the Charentaise countryside beyond. Outside there's a summer kitchen, a small terrace and a lawned garden. The village has a delightful cake shop, a popular restaurant, artisanal stores and a museum.

Very good location on the Poitiers (50 min), Angoulême (35 min), Niort (1 hr), and Limoges (1 hr 15 min) axes. 3 minutes from all shops. 2 minutes (by car) from a pond with a snack bar in summer and a supervised swimming area. Also 2 minutes away is a restaurant (closed on Mondays) as well as a bakery and 2 grocery stores. Our accommodation located in the countryside will bring you peace and a change of scenery.
