“Verónica’s Lovely Little House in Loulé is the only Airbnb home we have stayed in more than once. It’s the Airbnb ideal—small but centrally located home built in a traditional, local manner but updated for comfort. We have only stayed in winter and the house does get a little chilly, but the positives here outweigh the negatives. The main bed’s mattress is terrific and in that back bedroom one is well sheltered from any outside noise that might happen. You can shut out the light and sleep as much as you need. Lots of helpful little design touches and minimal wasted space. Within a few minutes walk you are on a nicer main street with restaurants and shops. The nearby Med restaurant was quite pleasant.”

“The apartment is well equipped. The kitchen contains everything you need. The rooms are spacious. The absolute highlight is the rooftop terrace. The view is great. A perfect place to start and end your days. When we did have a small problem the property manager Maria was there immediately to fix it. The only drawback was that after confirmation and payment she refused to give out the exact address of the apartment. She simply ignored my messages for weeks until I asked about check in. And even then she insisted on a public meeting point. Not knowing where exactly we were going made us really uncomfortable but if that doesn't bother you then go for it. Everything else was great.”

“My wife and I stayed here at the end of our vacation in Portugal and consider this one of our best Airbnb stays of all time. The farm is remote and even tricky to find, being on an unnamed road, but Julie and Marc quickly make sure all questions are answered. (Marc actually drove into town to fetch us when the Uber didn’t know how to find his place!). They rebuilt an old farm and the layout is amazing, including many sitting areas, a freshwater swimming pool, and an outdoor dining area for the tasty breakfast. We chose to purchase a vegan dinner upon arrival and it was amazing. The bottle of organic wine, dessert, and homemade liquors helped too! Did I mention the homemade soap with essential oils? Our room in the old donkey barn and the bathroom next door (former chicken coop and rabbit house) were perfect. The remodel was well thought out with a comfortable bed, walk in shower, and many other features. We wish our stay was longer!”
