Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

The house is located on the shore of Hornum Lake on private land along the lake shore. Possibility of swimming from a private beach and fishing from the lake shore as well as a campfire. There is a bathroom with toilet and sink, and showering takes place under the outdoor shower. Kitchen with 2 hotplates, refrigerator with freezer - but no oven. The lease is from 1 pm to 10 am the following day. There is a heat pump, soap, dishwashing detergent, cleaning supplies, etc. - but remember to bring bed linen😀 and towels, and pets are welcome, just not on the furniture.

Here you can both enjoy yourself in the large garden with a fire pit and wilderness bath (costs DKK 150/20) or cozy up on the sofa in front of the wood-burning stove. Our newly built Guest House is located in beautiful surroundings overlooking the forest and lake, close to the North Sea and Fårup. The family rooms have their own toilet/bath and have direct access to the terrace. The double rooms have a French balcony and are located on the 1st floor and have their own toilet/bathroom on the ground floor. Rooms share a large common kitchen. All rooms have views of fields and forests. The guest house is located on a farm, we have various animals and a ceramics workshop you can visit.

You will have peace and quiet on this large, sheltered property, where there is a fireplace, outdoor kitchen and fireplace, as well as several sunlit terraces. There are many cozy and good corners with shelter and sun. The grounds are often visited by pheasants, squirrels, deer and hares - just as the birds live in the many trees and bushes on the grounds.

The house's large glass panels create a picturesque scenery, where the clouds drift across the sky and draw the sunset into the house. The holiday home is secluded, but at the same time only 2 km from Nørlev beach, 3 km from Skallerup Seaside Resort and 6 km from Lønstrup. To the south is the view of the inland dunes in Skallerup - to the west the view of the sea.

The cottage is located on the West Coast within walking distance to the beach, dune plantation and the cozy beach town Tversted. The house - which is year-round insulated is located on a large 3000 m2 of undisturbed land with views of large protected natural areas. The cottage is fenced - with a large area, and you can therefore let your dog run free. NOTE: From May to August, the tent is open and there is therefore the possibility of 8 overnight guests.
