There is a beautiful walk around the river blackwater just minutes from the cabin with falls and old bridges. The views across to Ben Wyvis and the Cromarty Firth are outstanding and the dark sky at night is excellent for star gazing. Red Kites frequently fly overhead.

There are over an acre of gardens to enjoy with fishing rights on the Blackwater River which borders the property. There is one double bed, one small double sofa bed, and a folding single bed (using all beds will use all available space in the cabin) . There is also a large bathroom with electric shower, a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, toaster, single hob and kettle. A television and dvd player with a selection of dvds is also provided (no netflix etc) , along with a breakfast hamper.
