Cwt Glo is a cosy and peaceful cottage for two in Northern Snowdonia nestled between two mountain ranges the Carneddau and Glyderau. Cwt Glo is situated in a small village near Bethesda called Mynydd Llandygai. There is private off road parking next to the cottage. Cwt Glo is Welsh for Coal house and the cottage was the place where the coal was weighed and measured. The property has been both a farm and coal yard for the local area. Cwt Glo is a semi sustainable/off grid cottage it has a solar and wind system however there is the backup of mains electricity. There is also an LPG central heating and hot water system. The cottage has a wood burning stove to keep you cosy and warm in the evening after a busy day exploring the local area. We also provide the wood for your stay.

Central but tranquil our beautiful cottage is the ideal place to unwind. 30 acres of woodland. Ideally located to enable you to explore Snowdonia National Park, the North Wales coast and the beautiful Anglesey beaches. Situated 7 miles from the royal town of Caernarfon with it's majestic castle, 5 miles from Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon in the National Park. ZipWorld and its famous zip line 7 miles away. It’s an easy walk down into the village with its pretty marina and pubs. Sorry no pets.

The house can sleep up to 6 guests , with two double bedrooms and a single with bunkbeds . There are two spacious private gardens either side with views of Snowdon/ Wyddfa and neighbouring mountains. Majestic Caernarfon Castle is 5 miles away , and a trip over to the Island of Anglesey where you can walk the beautiful beaches.
