This comfortable, updated stone-built cottage is the ideal base for an adventurous break in the Snowdonia National Park. At the base of the Nant Peris Valley, one of the most dramatic in Britain, it is perfectly located for climbing Snowdon. The accommodation is great for one or two couples, or a small family. In our tiny village of Nant Peris we have a great local pub with ales, good food and an inglenook fire a stroll from your front door. Castles,beaches and adventures- Snowdonia has it all.

Situated just on the outskirts of the picturesque small town of Criccieth on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales where all amenities can be found and our beautiful Castle. At 1150 feet above sea level Hafod y Rhedwydd is one of the 12 highest houses in Wales and completely off-grid - private water supply, electricity by petrol generator, broadband via satellite - in the Snowdonia National Park and surrounded by National Trust land with amazing views. The cottage lies 8 miles from Betws y Coed on the northern edge of the Migneint, a 200 square mile SSSI and Conservation Area that is home to a rich variety of wildlife including Hen Harriers and polecats.
